One busy Wednesday

Look in those eyes. Can you resist this little kitchen helper? I can't.

I was dipping the first batch of candy canes in melted chocolate and he just wanted to help. So he did. Licking the spoon sparkling clean. SEE?

This year we are making lots of edible presents to give away. There is a limit of how many things somebody can put up to display so we thought we give them a little treat and a moment to enjoy.
These little bags went to school for the girls' teachers filled with hot cocoa mix french vanilla and two chocolate dipped candycanes to use for stirring to add the extra touch of chocolate to the delight.

A little bit later Soren stayed with a good friend of mine and got to eat lots of cookies as I found out afterwards because he wanted to stay right next to her, so he spend the whole time sitting on the kitchen counter munching cookies while she baked more delicious cookies.

Meanwhile I joined Chiara's Christmas celebration in school filled with goodies, making reindeer ornaments, fixing reindeer food and reindeer prints. Rudolph everywhere.

After Tumbling and Sunday School there was still the Tree Lightning Ceremony at the church and the girls just didn't want to miss it out. So after asking Lucy to light the tree, all the kids added ornaments to the tree. Sang xmas songs, munched on cookies (again) and hot cocoa and met friends.

And it happened like lightning advent candles on a wreath as the girls popped in my pictures.

First one

then two

then three

then four.

Xmas must be right in front of the door.
