Welcome to fingerprints fotografie

Finally I came up with a name which I think fits perfectly fits.

fingerprints fotografie

No matter what I do one of my kids always has his fingers in it and who do I take pictures of mostly. Children. And children leave always fingerprints behind.

Here are more photos from the session with Bennie and Bekka. Enjoy.

One step through the garage

On Sunday I finally got to work on our garage. I emptied a few more boxes, swept, vacuumed, mover all kinds of things around, found places for a few things, stacked up the stuff I want to get rid off and most important, managed to make a path to get from the front of the garage to the garage door. LOL

While I was working "hard", the girls played boccia and Soren strolled around. Soon Chiara was done playing Boccia and used her balls rather to play easter eggs and built a nest in an empty box from me. Soren and Isabell had a different idea with another empty box they snagged.

P.S. Did you already vote for Soren today?

Please vote for Soren

Crazy as it is I enter Soren in the local baby contest of our newspaper.

And it would be great if you c uld give him some support and vote for him.

It's free and you can do it daily at:

Just go on the ABC to S - Soren - and there he is at the bottom sitting on his red bobby car.

Thank you.

A quite interesting Friday

Is everybody going crazy because of the arriving IKE?

The supermarket was so packed today, every lane open and still long lines, in every shopping cart is at least one 24 pack of bottled water and most are piled up high.

Our shopping cart contained two half gallons of whole milk and a 30 pounds blond haired toddler.

Yes, I did my Friday weekend shopping because we have no intentions of going anywhere this weekend and be lazy or busy here until we go bonkers and have to get out of the house.

We didn't go crazy shopping, my freezer is always full, as is the pantry and the fridge pretty much, too. And just in case we actually do get more as a little more rain which we are all desperately hoping for, and electricity goes out then I truly don't want all my groceries getting ruined and with Leland not raiding the refrigerator we are well set for anything. So anybody up for a BBQ tomorrow?

We are in Central Texas not even close to the coast so we are not really worried, and just in case the girls had Tornado practise in school on Friday. Something new.

In case I am not posting anything tomorrow or the day after, won't mean more as that I am just too busy doing something else - like organizing my garage, laundry, ironing, sewing, playing with the kids, feeding the kids, sleeping, working, chatting, baking cake, watching Robin Hood, reading, .................................. there is always something to do.

Now to my interesting parts of the day.

Part 1:

Soren is my technical genius who loves buttons more as anything. EVERY button. He already managed to flip the screen of my notebook upside down and it took me forever to find the right key combination to switch it back. Believe me reading with your head upside down hurts after a very short time.

Now with ONE touch on the TV remote he found a new setting.

I love it, heads are cut off and also the text on the buttom.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I tried every freaking button, setting, combination on every remote and can't figure it out how to switch it back. I already searched for the instruction booklet which now goes in my invisible missing list posted in the filled refrigerator.

Part2:

While I thought Soren was messing in Chiara's room which finally was all clean up and organized again, he was up to something new.

I found him leaving the bathroom and saw all the toilet paper rolled off and scrooged all over with the black mean cat sitting in top behind the toilet.

Witness? Or partner in crime?

When he came up to me I noticed that the back of his shirt all wet, because he had his favorite snuggle blanket bear thrown over his shoulder which was soaking wet.

He stuffed his snuggle blanket bear in the toilet! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

So the kid washed off and put in bed without the snuggle bear and luckily tired enough to fall asleep without his beloved bear and the bear washed and hung up to dry.

And I got nicely informed from my JJJs, that this is just the beginning of mieschief. They think is cute and are just laughing.

Part 3:

After school we went to the new park we found and I had a photo shoot there with two adorable kids. They were so sweet with each other.
The little boy is Soren's playgroup buddy and usually pretty shy, but we got lots of pictures taken and some are just too darn cute.

I still have to work on all the photos and trying out new actions and techniques, but eventually I will post some more.

Tuesday's favorite toy

Since we now are always on the way to the bus stop by 6.40 every morning, I am not getting the trash can out the evening before pick up day. I collect the rest of all the rubbish in the morning and then pull it all the way down the rocky road of the driveway.

Not today.

When we stepped out, my trash can and the huge carton box was gone and already sitting out.

No, it wasn't my husband. That only happens occacionally, but usually will be overlooked.

But Steven, the neighbor's boy set it out. THANKS, Steven. I thought that was really nice of him, don't know why, but I appreciate it.

After his 3 hour nap in the morning (yes I got a second one late afternoon, too, today) we went a little bit outside. He decided the only "toy" he wanted to play with was my broom. He tried sweeping, but swept more often the table off as the floor that I had to rescue my glass and camera.

And he also proved the fact that being a witch must just be in our family's blood. He is already riding the broomstick!

Moody Monday

Something always goes missing in any house we live in and it keeps reminding me constantly that it is missing. So it would seriously make sense writing a list and post it, so if somebody in this house by accidents stumbles over my missing item(s) can just simply bring it back in appearance.

For right now it's an invisible list posted on our refrigerator door high enough so it's on my eye - level and out of reach of Soren's hands.

List of Missing Items

  • car keys (missing since we came home last night).
  • yellow NEW sippy cup (the missing blue one showed up shortly after buying replacements).
  • Camera Instruction Manual in English (I still have the Spanish version).
  • Husband.

It is late.
The kids are sound asleep.
The TV is running senseless.
Tiger sleeps on the comfy chair.
And I just am a little bit emotional.

One picture more to go

We did take a bunch of pictures today while the kids played at the Lampasas park, but this time something just went wrong. And the quality is really awful.

Funny Friday Fotos

Soren is such a goof ball when he is not fussy. He is crazy, but isn't he just gorgeous, too, with his wide open mouth smile.

When he looks at you he is pretty serious. When he is in a good mood, he starts smiling at you, first a little, sneaking around the corner

and then

ALL the way.
BIG.
Nonstop.
He is so silly.

It just melts my heart looking at these pictures, seeing his happy moments. I hope there are lots more.

This are just a few of "too" many pictures.

Taking my monkeys to the ZOO

The blog is playing crazy so I have no chance to move the pictures where they are supposed to be. Enjoy them anyway. LOL

We took one last excursion for summer break a week before school start and I took all my three monkeys to the Cameron Zoo in Waco.

It was pretty hot, luckily the zoo was not too big but nice. The kids enjoyed it and Soren even walked part of it all by himself. Yes, he is walking more and more now. YEAH.

Even I have to admit that I do miss our little zoo from Massachusetts, right around the corner, not even five minutes away, private and small, but just perfect. You could feed the animals there and even pat a dog or a cat.

Soren loved especially the Jaguar and the aquariums with all the fish.
